Our Gotlands
The Gotlands are Martin’s delight! These handy silver sheep are prolific and dependable mothers that give us twins and the occasional set of triplet lambs every year…but not too worry about the triplets, these ewes provide ample milk! The fiber is delicious, ranging in all the shades of gray imaginable with a hand much like mohair in the lambs and silken curls everywhere! A lovely young ewe that is just entering her most productive years. She is sired by our own OR147-1311 (QR) ram who was sired by David, a purebred AI semen sire. Her dam was OR147-1237, a wonderful production ewe sired by OR147-1195, a Denzel/Rover bred ram. This ewe should have an RR or at least a QR codon. She can be registered with the AGSS upon request.
